The project
We designed and delivered several still-life photo shoots for Talin, a Vicenza-based manufacturer of seating and furniture for offices and public spaces. The aim was to give every product an image true to its shape, colours and materials, consistent across the whole collection and ready for catalogues, price lists and online platforms.
The main difficulty was accurately rendering very different materials, such as coloured fabrics, mesh shells, upholstery, glass and polished metal finishes, which all react to light differently. We worked on a white-background set with controlled lighting, designed to bring out volumes and textures while keeping colours accurate.
In addition to individual products, we created compositions suggesting use in lounge and waiting areas, such as those for the Corner and Elipse collections, and photographed the Avianet beam seating to highlight its modularity. Post-production covered cut-outs, natural shadows and colour correction.
