A better user experience, right on the machine

The interface is where the operator and the machine meet. It must make complex tasks simple, help users find information quickly and guide them through the different stages of operation.

We design HMI graphical interfaces for machinery, plants and industrial systems, combining UX, UI design and an understanding of the operating context.

We organise screens, commands, data, alarms and navigation paths to create clear, consistent and easy-to-use interfaces, while maintaining continuity with the manufacturer's visual identity.

/01

UX and interface architecture

We organise functions, information and operating paths around the tasks the user has to perform on the machine.

/02

UI design for HMIs and touch screens

We design screens, buttons, menus, icons, indicators and graphic components for industrial displays and environments.

/03

HMI design system

We define reusable rules, components and graphic standards across different machines and lines, to maintain consistency over time.

/04

Icons and symbols

We develop clear, recognisable visual systems to make functions easier to read and reduce reliance on text.

/05

Data and machine status visualisation

We organise parameters, trends, alarms, notifications, efficiency indicators such as OEE and process information into dashboards that are easy to read and interpret.

/06

Brand consistency

We integrate the company's colours, typography and visual language into the interface, strengthening product recognition.

/07

Interface prototyping and testing

We create mockups and prototypes to test structure, navigation and clarity before final development.

/08

Multilingual interfaces

We design layouts and components with different languages and international markets in mind from the very start.

Working alongside engineering departments and software houses

We work in coordination with engineering departments, software houses and automation teams to turn the machine's functional logic into a clearer, better-organised user experience.

FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is an HMI?

HMI stands for Human Machine Interface: it is the screen, usually a touch screen, that operators use to start, monitor and adjust a machine or industrial plant.

What is a design system?

It is a collection of graphic components and usage rules, such as buttons, colours, icons and typefaces, that ensures consistency across all screens and makes new features easier to develop.

What is OEE?

OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) is an indicator that measures a machine's efficiency by combining availability, performance and production quality. Showing it in real time helps identify losses immediately.

Next step

From machine logic to operator experience

We don't start from aesthetics alone. We analyse functions, users, operating context and task frequency to understand which information needs to be visible, when it should appear and with what priority. A well-designed HMI can simplify operator training, make functions easier to find and improve the perceived quality of the machine. For the manufacturer, it also means a consistent visual language across the entire product range, easier to update and replicate.
