The project
We designed and built La Nordica-Extraflame's document web app for service centre technicians. A technician working on a stove needs to find the right document within seconds: the aim was to replace scattered PDFs and outdated versions with a single archive, well organised and always available.
We created sections dedicated to technical service documentation, product documents, news and utility tools. The archive brings together manuals, technical documents, wiring diagrams, drawings, catalogues, spare parts documentation, video tutorials and forms to fill in. Advanced search with filters and keywords leads straight to the document needed, even without knowing its exact title.
The user list is synchronised with the company's management system: authorised service centres get access automatically, with no manual registration, and every change in the customer records is immediately reflected in web app access.
Notifications alert technicians when new documents are published. The interface is designed for smartphones, runs in the browser with no installation, and updates are centralised: when the company publishes a new revision, the whole network sees it straight away.
