The project
In agreement with Bocconi University, we designed and built the personal website of Prof. Damiano Canale, Full Professor of Philosophy of Law. The starting point was a clear need: to bring research, publications, conferences and teaching together in a single authoritative space, easy to browse for an international academic audience and simple to keep up to date.
We began with the content architecture, organising the site into a sectioned homepage (profile, research, teaching, contact) and dedicated pages for publications, conferences and Music Box, the blog where the professor writes about music. Publications are grouped by type, journal articles, books and chapters in edited volumes, with book covers and links to the CV and external profiles.
The editorial design, with a dark background, serif headings and amber accents, is built for reading long texts and bibliographies. The site runs on a CMS that lets the professor publish new publications, conferences and articles independently, and is available in Italian and English.
Finally, we integrated an AI assistant, trained on the website's content, that answers visitors' questions about research, courses and publications and guides them to the relevant pages.
