Limited edition boards meet iconic oil paintings

The newest collaboration between french surf houses Boom-art and UWL birthed limited edition boards in both triptych and diptych variations with famous oil paintings covering their surfaces.

The French skate and surf gallery teamed up with surf company UWL to produce the “504” boards series that includes the work of known Dutch artists like Jan Davidsz. de heem (1606-1684), Hieronymus Bosch (1450-1516), Jan van Huysum (1682-1749), and more.

The modern reinterpretations, fruit of stunning design ideas, add a new pop of rich colours and patterns to the surf and skateboards, each board handmade and individually numbered by UWL. For this series, each skateboard has been produced in an edition of 80 pieces, and the surfboards come in an edition of 10. Seeing centuries-old paintings on typical modern items that have represented youth culture for decades is truly eye-stopping.
